Met up with a couple of mates on a lovely sunny day to explore what remains of the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford. A lovely relaxed explore, just a shame 90% of the site has been demoed and a bit more has been pulled down since Landie's thread was put up although it is still worth a few hours of your time if you are in the area. I went snap happy and took far too many photos of the place, I guess I was just happy to be out in the sunshine exploring again with great company.
Won't bother with the history instead I will let the NHS do the talking: http://www.oxfordradcliffe.nhs.uk/aboutus/history/ri history.aspx
Pics...some exteriors first couple of the rear and one of the front taken from a vantage point upstairs. The front door was open on this occasion although the road was fenced off, throughout the building were signs the demolition team had just downed tools for the weekend
Moving inside....(and I really need to sort out the slight tilt on my tripod!)
The bringer of destruction....
Finally...watching you? Maybe not.........
