This is my first time posting here ans its probably the last report this place will ever have.
RAF Upwood Medical Facilty Now Demolished sadly, It was a lovely clean almost decay free building.
Whilst taking another explorer around the area we clambered under the fence and took a walk around, we noticed multiple parts that had been badly vandalised and the metal door which had been forcefully opened, As any explorer would we decided to enter it and to our surprise the building was clean yet completly trashed, doors smashed, not a pane of glass was intact, spent medical supplies over the floor, false cieling coming down with wires pipes and insulation spilling out.
We ended up having to go through a door and came out by the ambulance discharge bay.
As you see from the first image it wasnt all bad just badly trashed.
The reception are was just as bad although a nice explore.
The sad thing is there was a lovely staircase here once all glass banisters all smashed up.
The badly ransacked and trashed Pharmacy
The upstairs reception trashed and shutters were hanging off.
Treatment rooms smashed up and equiptment broken and vandalised.
Downstairs near the gardens.
The service tunnels
One of the many so called "Intact" treatment rooms
Dental light
A Switch board never to be used again.
One of the other treatement lamps
Cleaned out cupboards
Disused equiptment
As mentioned this has now all been demolished and sadly RAF Upwood is next on the list of demo, how long it will be who knows.
There will be more reports to come from myself but until then...
Enjoy
