Hanson Aggregates Ltd,Liverpool,5-10

Hanson Aggregates Ltd,is based in Collingwood Dock, Regent Road, Liverpool.They supplied all aggregates including Sand,Gravel,Shale and readymix concrete.Looks like it has been shut down for a while,but worth a closer look.

Hanson is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of construction materials. Our products include aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed-concrete, bricks, blocks and cement.

wasnt sure if this place was still active or not but worth a look as we were passing just 2 out buildings onsite one being the first aid room the other prob office and maybe canteen..anyway both locked

so with that there was only one thing for it...climb the huge ladders and get some high shots...

I've merged the two threads because they are from one visit.

I would expect that to open again once the market picks up or if there is a building project going on in the area. All the mothballed Hanson plants round here have been pressed into service again.
