Hi All

This was a quick visit with Fluffy on route to another site.

These are a few pictures of the outside only of the former head office and the more modern labs
of the Shotton steel works in Flintshire. This little lot was due to be demolished back in 2009-2011
but its still here.

The main head office was built way back in 1908 and it amazing.

After looking on the old interweb for this place I found a copy of a very old photo of the main head office
building.

The last shot is one of the more modern building.

These look even better than they did when I first saw them, which was after I'd had five pints of Bombardier. (A sort of reverse beer goggles effect - which, if you'd had some of the the experiences I'd had, would definitely be a good thing.....;) )

How can they get away with ripping down a building with such quality architectural features as that, beyond believe!

Great report!
