The village school

Thanks to mookster for showing me this little village school.well hidden behind thick bushes.this little school consisted of only two rooms.one was an extension and more modern room.but the main original hall was a real beauty.i really believe it was one of the nicest rooms I have ever been in.the ceiling was coming in one side.allowing lovely light to come in.the colours were lovely with the original lights still hanging.the floor is rotting badly as I found out as my foot went through.the hole was obviously an infant one as the urinals and sinks were very low.my guess is the infants got amalginated into the local junior school.

Wow - what a gem of a place. The light in the main hall was stunning - and that particular photo could well be a contender for the Derelict Photo of the Year!!! Places like this are my ideal. Thanks for sharing - loved it!
