Ebrige Mill is also sometimes known as North Walsham Mill. The Old Mill was 5 Storeys high, built of Red Brick with a Slate Roof, the Mill remained in the Ownership of the Family within Cubbitt and Walker from 1869 to 1998 when it was sold to Duffields and subsequently closed. When the goodwill of the Flour Milling Business was sold to the Millers Mutual Association in 1966 the Milling Machinery was broken up leaving the Old Mill as an Ancillary to the new Provender mill, the Mill was situate next to the long Defunct North Walsham and Dilham Canal south of North Walsham as seen here in 1910, Here is a tranquil scene from 1915 outside the Original Mill, the Water Whel was still in use! The side of the Mill in circa 1928 showing Ebridge Mill and the Canal Bridge too The Complex in 1940 after conversion to Steam And here in 1977 showing signs of Dereliction I visited with my main Man Manof2Worlds, a brill explore with loads of Rickety Ladders and Wooden floors! Ebridge Mill Facade, a lovely day too, but the Brass Monkeys had gone indoors! The Original Mill Ebridge Lock The Loading Bay The Tailrace Part of the Engine House This is one of my Fave Shots bThe place was all Wooden Floors and Beams everywhere! The newer Office Part Tis is the Roof of the Boliler House! And the Highlight of the explore for me!, the Original Boiler! The view from the 5th Floor! Yes I made it that far!

Hi Black Shuck, that is some quality report there mate, I am well impressed. There is just so much stuff to see, from the boiler to the fire bucket, the big cogs, and I love the 'for attention press the green button' painted sign!

I might be tempted to haul my *** over your way for a look round that site, it looks like you had good fun!
