Starting at the northernmost in Scarborough S0002765 and S0002766 both pillboxes are virtually just rubble now and to my eyes seem too thin to have been pillboxes as such and the defence site S0002812 is either totally gone or has been mistaken as the concrete slab with an inspection cover that was part of the old sewage system

Inland from these is roadblock S0002792 and theres only one column as its a straight drop into the water on the other side so im not sure what this column is

Now down to the edge of the golf course S0002802 is buried and sealed up.Its definately military lol but for a pillbox its very big.The only people I saw in the houses opposite had no idea what it was.The sealed up door is visable but theres no sign of embrasures or anything else.

You have to go to the south of the town for the last two survivors S0002809 is totally inaccessable apart from one side through a small gap in the hedge so no pics of that. But I did speak with two old chaps on the allotments next to and they both said it wasnt a pillbox but seemed to think it had something to do with a radar station that once stood where the housing estate now is ?.Then success at last lol Pillbox S0002810 in the field where the beach donkeys are kept.Full of rubbish but intact.

Last but not least a section post S0002760 half in situ. Not sure if the bits on the cliff bottom are both from it or some is from the demolished one also listed there but it looked to me like they were all part of the same one as the others up that part of the coast are L shaped and that would fit better than having two posts so close together (my theory anyway lol )
