looks amazing from the outside, would love to see inside photos. shame u got caught...oops. :p
really does give off that 'vibe' of asylum... any history on the place?

Well we were a bit stupid really, we wernt exactly sure where it was so we drove around to look at it and the security guard must have spotted us a few times as theres loads of cameras up. He just told us if we didnt leave he would phone the police, which i know he probably wouldnt do, but it was my first time...

yeh fair enough, best to be nice n polite and do as asked.

had a look at some other people's internal photos. loving the staircase. superb.

Ah well you got some nice exteriors, I've not seen anything from here for a while.

You will get used to it (alot of people say they dont get caught-but i think its only a matter of time if your looking round lots of places as ive been stopped a fair few times- never had a problem though as ive always been polite and left when asked), so just be polite and leave if your caught :)

Better luck next time ;)

Nice photos, wait a week and try again and learn from the mistakes you made on this visit.

Getting caught is a one of the hazards that we face and you can learn some fantastic tips from listening to sec and seeing how they work.

Good luck

Can we come next time too? :)

We've managed not to get caught so far but we got yelled at in Denbigh (never did find out who was yelling and didn't get an alsatian attached to my ass so it can't have been the hairy one!) and we wandered around the grounds of Whitty bold as brass for 30 minutes to see how alert secca actually were... not very as it turns out!

My attitude is to lie low the second we hear anyone. It was a bit nerve tingling doing that in Germany though because the laws on trespass over there are extremely black and white - it's a crime, end of.

Just think how much you'll enjoy the place when you do get in! It took us five attempts to get inside Whitty and we only managed it with the generous help of two experienced explorers in the end.
