Rustaq and Nahkal, Oman, July 2014

OK... here's my penultimate Oman report. This time it's a series of crumbling buildings around the Rustaq and Nakhal area. It's on a 200km loop North-West of the capital Muscat. Common theme is that the buildings are made out of mud and once abandoned they crumble away. Although it does take time as it is very very dry in Oman. OK on with the pictures:

Ha ha....yes very much Arabian nights.

Not too sure trespass is such a big issue there. A lot of these places are truly abandoned in the fullest sense of the word. But in serious cases it's probably a one camel fine ;-)
