West Park Hospital, Epsom, Surrey - January 2011

A very early start and a very freezing day. It is still perfectly possible to take a look at West Park, so for all you defeatists, get down there while so much is still there! Despite the reasonably large group, we got in and out undetected and around a fair bit of the site. An awesome explore today, not least because of the company. Thanks guys, and particular thanks to Mr Bones!

P.S. Sorry my photos are a bit rubbish. Was more about the explore today and less about the photography!

Theres certainly some good shots in there ok..I agree with you that its good to actually go to enjoy the explore rather than view the site from behind the camera.Is the creche still there?

There was definitely activity on site! Just have to take care to avoid it...

Its strange, I thought once the bulldozers came in, that would be the end of exploring at West Park, it seems its just another chapter in its history..

So tempted to take a trip back.

Creche has been cleared of asbestos but the fixtures and fittings are still in place.

Collapse, 2 People in the group fell through that floor. its gotten very bad recently.
