Had a quick look around here after another explore around the corner. It was extremely trashed a couple of years before when I visited. As the place is about to be demolished I thought I would share what is left of the place. Soon Bradgate nursing home will be no more!

I have added the little bird who met us on our walk around, he was really cute and friendly. Not sure what he is but he had webbed feet.

What a mess that is now! It looks really interesting from outside and not a bit like a nursing home but more like a hospital or the like.

Thanks for posting.

It was originally the The Zachary Merton Convalescence Home to house injured war veterans. I have found some info that suggests it is a listed building, and so is being redeveloped.

Listing doesn't mean somewhere won't be demolished! Been trashed for so long now, but I do like the building.
