Built in 1914, Fairwood Hospital was originally a fever hospital, specifically designed as a cluster of small buildings to keep groups of infectious patients isolated. Closed in 2010, there are currently talks of turning the site, into accommodation for adults with learning difficulties.
Visited here twice this week, once was a quick check of the place late one evening, just to see if it was possible to explore and then I went back later in the week for better shots. The site has five buildings, but only two are accessible. The first is one of the larger wards and the second was some office and storage rooms that were smashed up and had sheep living in the rooms.
Anyway, on with the shots.
