Nocton Hall Hospital is a place that has been a fixture on most explorer's radars at some point or another, as it's a sprawling location of the kind that is few and far between now.
I first visited here just over two years ago on a glorious summers day and decided the best thing to do would be to go back on another day just like it. I loved my time here back then so was well up for a revisit when my friend said he wanted to go.
I had heard that all the holes in the fence had been sealed up recently but there was one possible way in. Making it to the fence surrounding the site I could see that the reports of sealing were true as on first wander it looked like every single hole had been sealed up with thick twisted wire. However after a closer inspection we found one that had either been missed or recently been undone and got in. I haven't met any fellow explorers on a day out for some time and on this day we bumped into two separate groups briefly which was nice, and we exchanged pleasantries before heading off and doing our own thing.
Having been closed for 22 years now it's in a very nicely decayed state. It has always amazed me how little this place seems to change, and how little graffiti there is amongst about 90% of the buildings after all this time. It almost seems stuck in a decay timewarp.
Thanks for looking, more photos are here https://www.flickr.com/photos/mookie427/albums/72157688386925845
