I am down here for a short weekend so decided to make another couple of visits to the Bedfordwell Pumping Station. I say another as I went there in July and went again last night to take some night shots and some this morning for some Black & White. I will put a few of each on here and the full set here http://www.flickr.com/photos/100221036@N06/sets/72157637622458655/
Its a shame that the place has all gone bar the Pump house building. I worked here for about a year after leaving school at 15 in 1970. It had its own road system where I used to drive a dumper around and also they used to do motorcycle training there some evenings where for about a quid you had the use of a BSA Bantam to ride around the place.
There's no way you can get in, but I'm not sure if I want to, standing outside by the smashed windows and all you can hear is what sounds like hundreds of pigeons.
