In operation from 1850 to 1914. The works produced bricks made from local quartzite which was capable of withstanding high temperatures making them suitable for furnaces or kilns.

I loved it, Nicest bit of industrial dereliction I seen in awhile, pic eleven has an Aztec look, you got darn good photos Mel, Thanks
 
The last photo. I've kayaked to this place a few times. On my first visit the hole in the floor (out of shot) had pretty much been created by the sea eroding the bottom of the building.

Your picture shows almost the entire floor gone.

Will call in next time I'm on Anglesey.
