The Railway Cement Works
Intro
After hearing of the demolition starting and scaffolding allowing access to the chimney vents I have wanted to go here. My main aim was to explore the vents and climb the building giving me a view of everything.
The Explore
After a rather stressful commute to the works we made our way through the woodland. We could instantly hear a digger going at a building, we had to stay hidden. Eventually we saw what had happened to the Kiln.
Crap.
Anyway we moved around the back of the chimney and found a way on the walkways. Due to how open it was I went alone, at first. Eventually I started to find what I wanted to see.

The Photos
It's unfortunate to come to an end. Probably the best location I have visited.
The Chimney will be blown up in December.
Here's a little throwback to what it was like.
