RAF Sculthorpe, Norfolk – December 2015

So after visiting West Raynham, Mookster and I headed south to RAF Sculthorpe which when operational; acted as the second satellite airfield for RAF West Raynham. Squadrons started arriving in 1943 after construction finished. The site was refurbished in 1949 for the U.S. Air Force.

After the Cold War; Sculthorpe became inactive and the site was sold in the mid 1990s to a private property developer. Demolition work began on parts of the site in 2009.

Hi there, nice pictures! Im looking to visit this location as well as RAF West Raynham, is there much trouble getting into the building itself as I'm really looking forward to visit but dont want to be too disappointed when I get there.

I'm afraid asking for information like that is against the forum rules. In this hobby failure is always a possibility.
