had a wee trip to the nurburgring last week,so had some time to spend at raf laarbruch,its now dusseldorf weeze and is still a live airport,although much of it is disused.

this was the area of the museum,but unfortunatley it was closed when we visited,the 2500 euro fine signs kinda put us off exploring internally.:(

Interesting pics, my uncle was based here back in the day I was quite suprised to realise it had closed down. (As a RAF station)
 
As I recall the former Gulf War hostages John Peters and John Nichol were based there with XV Squadron.

Nice photo's by the way.:)
