We thought we'd take a trip out today & we ended up here :)
There is some info about it here http://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/world/uk/raf_tarrant_rushton.htm

All the runways & the control tower have gone & there are crops being grown on the land in the middle, but there are a few bits to look at. The 1st hanger we came to was full of cows.

We found a big hanger on the other side of the airfield

& now we know where all those green goddesses hide when there are no firemen's strikes

fire*fly, that's a brilliant find. Excellent pics and such interesting history to it...what a bonus finding the green goddesses there too.
Nice work. :)

cool  well I don't know who they belong to, but they are all huddled up in a hanger in dorset....along with a manky caravan & a load of straw ;)
