lswr tunnels devonport!

These two tunnels went from ford viaduct now demolished too kings road station betwen the two tunnels was albert road halt which had no remains left either! Both tunnels have had sewer put through them which why one side is raised. This is my first proper attempt at photos in the dark using a tripod and lights so any tips would be good!

Well done mate. My mate Badoosh has been through this I am sure he has.; that is a seriously long tunnel. What is the yardage?

Chears the first one ford tunnel is 373 yards long followed by Devonport park tunnel which is 530 yards long!

530 Yards is fairly long. I have walked Old Warden Tunneel in Bedfordshire at 882 yrds and Benniworth in lincs at 560. I love the Calcification by the way, very cool.

Two fine tunnels, good to see someone else has made the visit. Sounds awesome when your stood under the junction of the current tunnel & a train comes rolling through.

Yeah id forgoten about the live tunnel above and was momentarily spooked by the rumble above! And chears chewy you have to have a thomas face on when in a train tunnel :>
