Hi. Here's a post of Lacewood Primary School in Bolton on Dearne. Built in 1896, there were orignally 2 main buildings (infant and junior) and a caretakers house. A seperate nursery building was built in the 1980s. The infant building has been kept as a community centre, but the junior building has now been demolished.
This is the junior school building:
The kitchens:
Hall - loads of hardwood parquet flooring - what a waste.
Not much left really:
Nursery building: (Conservatory help up entirely by the doors - didn't stand under this bit!)
Stone:
This one was taken a few days later, very sad really:
Classroom, nice moss growth:
Entrance down to boiler room:
In the boiler room:
Caretaker's house:
Cellar in caretaker's house: (Was pitch black - camera flash did a good job)
Another one of the cellar - didn't expect to find a drum! (Pitch black again obviously)
Hope these are of interest to people. I'm open to constructive crititcism!
