Abandoned religious centre and church!!!

Monday saw me banished from the house for a while, told to go out on my bike 'cause herself was busy!!!... I found this place by accident, saw it from the top of a hill, noticed the overgrown grounds...once in town I parked the bike up, found a gate & in I went...WOW!..as well as the church there's also a large & well trashed accomadation building with classrooms, bedrooms, toilets etc,etc...some interesting buildings in the grounds & of course the church...I grabbed a few pics before thrashing home to tell herself...and back we went to take a load more pics!...a torch was handy too as we found the trap doors to the crypt underneath the altar were open & the graves empty.....most of the stained glass windows are intact, some are stunning & a neighbour told us the place has been empty for a long,long time...I need banishing from the house more often

France is amazing - every little town has some quality dereliction in it. If this was in the UK there would be a stream of people turning up like they do at the Ark in Liverpool.

We've never met anyone else at any of the places we've been to / found ..... apart from Canfranc, but there was no one else taking pics, just tourists having a look.
