Saw this place the other day on a trip to Northern Ireland to see the Titanic Belfast Experience (which is fantastic by the way). Ballycarry is between Larne and Carrickfergus on the Causeway Coastal route, not a great deal of info on this ruin can be found: "Templecorran old church, Ballycarry Built in 1613, Templecorran (Ballycarry) became the first Presbyterian church established in Ulster by Scottish settlers. This ivy-clad ruin is all that remains. There are graves inside the ruin. Its historical significance seems to have been overlooked by all the heritage and “cultural traditions” bodies."
