This is an absolute gem. It just goes to show these kind of off the beaten track places are still around and waiting to be discovered.
Every so often I see somewhere that ticks all the boxes, somewhere that is a perfect snapshot of decay. Located in the back end of the middle of nowhere this small church fits that bill and then some, tucked far out of reach of any idiots or looters quietly decaying all by itself in a tiny hamlet.
It was a long journey to get here so I was massively relieved when I pushed the door and found it open - and with a bit of a shove it opened enough to allow entry. Sometimes the best things really do come in small packages, this place is a stunning little time capsule of untouched decay. It is the kind of location you are more used to seeing on continental Europe rather than here in the UK.
Thanks for looking
