The Holiday Shack

I visited this little seaside shack with Mikeymutt. It was a nice sunny day and there were quite a lot of people around, so once inside it was quite surreal to hear everyone walking past outside and playing on the nearby beach completely oblivious to what is inside this little train carriage shaped building hidden amongst the trees. This must have stood empty for quite some time given the state of the shack, although I don't have any history on it. All I know is I love this place!

You done a fantastic job of this little gem,it's strange because I just posted this on fb about an hour ago.i won't put my pics on here as I have done two reports on this place..I will put a few photos in general photos when you have finished your reports from Norfolk.glad you liked this one.nice one rubex..that floor in the train extension just gets worse.i noticed as well there use to be a picture on the wall in the sitting room.that has gone now though by the looks of it.

Do you have any externals? Defo looks like at least part of it was a railway carriage

Sorry ajarb, my batteries died as I was trying to get the external photos. But yes, part of it was an actual train carriage!

Nice post. This report is telling a story by the use of photographs. Nice going. But I've seen this carriage on other reports and I cannot figure out the type or railway company it came from.
