A Country Hall in some woods in Suffolk, this place was damaged by a bomb in the 2nd World War. This was a bit of a spontaneous explore for me, the sunsets have been beautiful recently and I wanted to try get a picture. I parked up and walked down the long road through the woods. Clearly managed, there were stacks of pine by the side of the track and the nature was abundant (I saw 2 woodpeckers and a red deer and I wan't even being quiet!). I soon came across the house, following a natural path that had been cut fairly recently by the look of it. From what I understand, the site is occupied and the building with the clock-tower (stables?) has been refurbished, so I stuck around the front of the Hall.

Here are a few pictures.

Bonus time-lapse to try and catch the sunrise that never really was.

That's a great set. Really liked the time lapse vid. I love places like this.

This must be just up the road from me and I never knew it existed. What a really nice place. Your photos and especially the time lapse give the whole thing an imposing atmosphere. I've recently got a new camera, must get practising.

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm really pleased with how the time-lapse came out. Plenty more to come!
