Krypton did a report last September on a pillbox at the top of Crimdon Dene [ame]http://www.derelictplaces.co.uk/main/showthread.php?t=13376[/ame] and it didn't look like an ordinary pillbox. Well I had a look at it today and I can confirm that it is actually not a pillbox but a SECTION POST
It is positioned facing inland to protect the railway viaduct at the mouth of the dene.
