Netherfield Farm in Coalburn

Well I know very little about this farm apart from what I was told by a local of the village. Aparently home to Margaret Longmuir who died in 1994 was taken over by her son David Longmuir who still owns one of the farms nearby. I believe the farm is called Netherfield and the one that is still in use is called Merchanthall. I found on the net a lot of legal documents about the dispute of ownership of it after the mother died.

Anyhoo the house was left abandoned and local kids did all this damage. looks like it would have been a nice little hoose but is major scary especially when you forget your torches
