Up On The Hill - Wolverhampton

This place is close to where I grew up, and has been in this condition for a long, long time.

A passer-by informed me that they were considering listing the place, but apparently it's too far gone structurally to be worth the effort. It's a shame if that's true, be a pity to see it go altogether.

By the way.. anyone see what I see in the last pic??? No doubt a reflection, but it made me sit up!

WOW look at all the stuff. I have a fascingation with old books and documents!

Yeah, old books are nice... but these were proper stinky, been damp for so long!

I knoe exactly where it is and might go for a look next time i'm over my folks in wolves!!!! me and the wife have been driving past for years wanting to see the inside!!!! looks like we know what we're doing this weeend! good work fella!!

Enjoy... I don't think anyone will bother you as long as you don't start shimming drainpipes etc.!! I just casually walked round with the camera, being my usual charming, nonchalant self...

I'd have loved to have seen the upstairs, but I could only just get those indoor shots by poking the camera through the window bars.
