this building was opened in 1936 it's located right next to the new part of the a228 near the m25
it covers about 270 acres,mainly of tree land
it housed 1200 patients and closed in 1996
alot of the site has been demolished
when the site is complete it will be call birling grange
the tower
the main building,which is boarded up proper tight and has security cameras on it,don't know if they work or not.didn't want to chance it
one of the side buildings,which had alot to explore
security was obviously back in the day
the security office and their view -nice!!!
next to the security office is a large shed with absolutely tons of paperwork about the security
on the way out kaboom just couldn't wait for a ciggie!!!
the largest building of all thats left,trouble is it just feels like a shell with no soul at all
inside the building-i've heard it was the nurses quarters,but not sure
the lift and it's shaft
whats got to be the oldest hoover!!
