Stainton Camp is now an industrial estate but part of it is still used by the caded force. I have had a look on the net and can't seem to find any interesting past on this place so if anyone has any feel free to add on to this report. I was going to have a look round barford camp too but due to the fact there was a massive event going on i decided to leave it till next time im round that area.
Stainton camp was home too the Royal Armoured Corps and was also used as a POW camp.
