Thursford Castle was a local name in West Norfolk given to the Walsingham Union Workhouse that was built around 1803 as far as Black Shuck and I can ascertain. The whole of the workhouse was demo;ished in the late 70s leaving only a few scattered ruinous remains dotted through a large copse of broad leaved and pine trees. A boiling hot Sunday afternoon and the U.S.S. Flying Frog once again headed out across the Norfolk Flatlands, our primary target being the Workhouse Chapel. And heres what we found.....!!!
