Was able to get into the AAOR today, you could smell the air from the arsonists work. Very happy my torch did not fail. I'm afraid I cannot add any pictures as too new to the site. Hopefully soon?

Any member can post pictures but they have to be hosted somewhere else, like Photobucket for example.

There is a handy guide here.

Well, here wew go....

Saw the site on 'Sub Brit', realised it was local and thought, why not, lets go!!

What a disapointment, totally burnt out. Was interesting though as it was the first Urbex that I had to depend on a torch throughout.

Was a little worried though as when I got to the site I realised my torch was already on, thus having to return every couple of minutes to the entrance to regain my bearings just incase the torch failed.

Have a look at the 'Sub Brit' (Can I write that?) Wenallt page see if you can guess which of my photo's are shot in a similar position to their's.... What a difference in ten years!!

bloody ell thats in a right state now i had heard about some tosse torching it but had never went back to see the damage cheers for posting some pics

i think I have photos and video of us in there before it was burn out... many years ago. A real shame. It was in use as a base for people who do maintenence on masts, put up the microwave repeaters etc and they kept their gear there. Thats how we got access by one of those showing us around. Ill see if I can dig em out in the next few months as all my stuff is in storage at the mo, moving houses... if I ever find one.
