Hello people
These pics were taken on two seperate visits.
Sorry if the pics are too big, they seem large to me.
History:
The GNR warehouses were constructed in 1857 by Thomas Hine for the storage of grain from the railway.
They were abandoned in the 1980s (I think).
In 2005, the bodies of two homeless women were found inside one of the buildings, and the buildings are notorious for drug addicts
Thankfully, we didn't see or hear anything except for pigeons
Anyway, here are my pics:
Outside:
The building towers overhead...
A bad shot of the other building, which is full of scaffolding
Looking out over the building filled with scaffolding, on a nice sunset:
On the roof:
Looking out of the window, on a grey day in Nottingham:
Me standing by the lift
Some kind of paintball smoke grenade, found near the lift:
:confused
The lift controls:
Down the lift shaft:
At the bottom of the lift shaft:
Looking up the lift shaft from the bottom:
Some kind of cash register
At th top of the scaffolding in the other building:
In this building, there was a lot of nice architecture still visible, despite the graffiti.
I believe that the two homeless women were found dead in this building
Some kind of platform, probably where the carriages came in to unload the grain from the railways:
Piles of stones:
I hope you enjoyed my pics, thats all for now :thumb
