Hi Sam,
Did you access it from the disused line that crosses the milton road or from the river side?
Thinking about heading up there soon for a little explore and photography.
Cheers
Nick
I went here at the beginning of April (photos).
Aggregate trains use a couple of the sidings and seem to visit most days (except Sunday...). They demolished the old control rooms to make way for stones.
you mean where the huge piles of stones are there used to be buildings? what kind of size? i tried to google the place but all that came up were the development plans and not a pic of how it used to look.
Cheers for the advice Sam, I managed to have a look around the sidings at the weekend with a friend.
Nothing new to report that hasn't been mentioned already but have put some photos up here http://www.flickr.com/photos/dukepowers
Pretty cool site, managed to avoid the locals and the police helicopter that was buzzing overhead for a while
