Rank Hovis Mill, Ramsgate. It would appear that I followed hot on the heels of a few explores in June, but it was definately worth the looksee.
It was an early dawn expedition, which was well worth it as the sunlight was amazing, especially on the old, golden wood in the building.
This place closed in 2006 after over 100 years of milling, the site is now proposed to become.....wait for it!...Flats. But there appear to be finance issues at the moment.
Check out Nelly's post for some oldie worldy pics of the place (hope you don't mind me linking your post Nelly)

On with my take on the place.
I know a few of these.
There are wartime shelters under the site which are doable, but they are bit of a chore and devoid of anything but walls. see Thanet Underground for more details
