This became the in thing to see when it first appeared on the world wide web. The visitors book is somewhat full.

It does have a rather nice Chimney which I seem to have cut off in It's prime...

... It has some nice advertising though.

A little bit of what Murph was all about. ...

They were industrial parts manufacturers established in 1930. The company made tools, belt driven machinery, transmissions and electrical equipment, specialising in items for tanners and leather manufacturers in addition to glue and gelatine plants. They produced batch runs of specialist components and carried out renovation work on various machine parts.

Lets clock in for the shift then.

It's not hard to see why it became so popular. It's full of chains, pulleys and hooks galore.

The sweet smell of grease lingered with me long after I had left.

Excellent set. Clearly a good deal of thought has gone into these, I really like the composition and colours. The sign is an outstanding piece of vintage design as well.
