Firstly, apologies for taking so long to put these up. It's partly due to laziness and mostly due to how busy this year has become for me. Generally speaking, exact dates don't go down well on this site but on March 19th, most of the world experienced a 'Supermoon'

Many of my friends from further North in the country said that on that night it was either raining or extemely cloudy but luckily for myself and King Al, the moon provided some extraordinary lighting effects and what better place than a local explore with some decent vantage points from which to photograph it.

All of these shots were taken over the course of a couple of hours and required extremely long shutter speeds of up to 5 minutes, but are all straight off the camera with no tweaking other than rotation, resizing and cropping.

Enjoy Fullers with a twist....

Mr. B

Excellent pictures. Just as I was beginning to get rather bored of seeing same-old reports about this place, this is something different and refreshing. Great idea, thanks for posting.

:lol:been out on a few night like this when it's a bit like daylight not what you want when trying to be stealthy:lol::lol: but it makes for some good shots, well done mate:)

Very nice. What exposure were you using as it looks like it's long enough to make some stars leave trails?

Thanks Pincheck

Thanks, exposures between 2 and 5 minutes but the moon was over-powering any stars that would have been in view on that night.

Gorgeous pics, Mr B. Great idea. Did you manage to take any pics of the moon itself? :)

Thanks Foxy, no pics of the moon itself - didn't really have the right lens with me.

Wow -amazing shots Mr. B.
I trust that you wore your sunglasses when viewing the moon :lol:

Cheers LB. No sunglasses on that night but I took my moonglasses to Spain earlier in the year! How's it going btw?

Very surreal pics..at times some shots appear to be in broad daylight.Good to see something really different..cheers buddy.
