Graigwen Farm, Pontypridd, June 2011

This derelict farm is situated in the Graigwen area, just outside of Pontypridd. It seems it was lived in by an elderly gent who passed away in 2009 and has been empty ever since. It was up for sale, with 70 acres attached, for £350k but unsurprisingly due to the remote location and the state of repair, remains unsold. Having said that the views are stunning.

Love the tiled 20/30s fireplace, I,m surprised its still there.

Oh that’s well buggered, great pics though I enjoyed it, shame that the folk fascinated by flames found it, they seem to get everywhere and do more mischief than the metal magpies.

A forum member has told me that this appears to have been sold. Hopefully it's being restored

Hi all this has most definitely been sold! Went down with the dog to see how it was doing just after christmas and the gate now has big private property signs on etc thought it might be a deterrent so jumped the gate anyhow and there is definitely work going on down there pleased in a way and selfishly gutted in another as this place is amazing and the land it has is fantastic so good luck to the developers if I hear anymore will let you guys know
