Bit of a time capsule this one, and in not too bad condition for a 68 closure. Tons of photographic paper left on the cupboards

Don`t you just love ROC posts that you can drive right up to and there is even parking.
 
I wouldnt quite call it a time capsule! But its good for a 68 closure.

The photographic paper would have been used in the Ground Zero Indicator - spots would have been burned onto the paper from north south east and west. Using special calculators observers could find where, how far and how powerful a blast was

kl I assume thats the circular shape on the entrance hatch?
 
The circular thing is the mount for the Ground Zero Indicator - the GZI would be secured into the three holes on the top.

You wont find glitto or really much of interest in a post that closed in 1968 :)
