A very long over due first report! Please bear with me on the photo's, this is the second time I've used my D80 and I have just about learnt how to put the battery in and where the shutter release is.
I've seen a few other reports with a bit of history on Transco so I won't bore you with that again and it doesn't seem relevant to this site anyway. I haven't been able to find any real info on this site.
Before I start with the pictures and in the light of a recent thread I would like to warn others of an asbestos risk in one of the buildings.
I visted this place with omj624p, I didn't think it was going to be that interesting, but I have come away with more questions than answers!
Two of the three buildings on the site are prefab type units that are pretty much trashed inside, clearly the local kids have been in them. To be honest there isn't much of interest in them.
The third brick building is where things started to get a lot better.
I've seen the lab glass in other reports, it was nice to see it was still there and not been broken
The fume cabinets and extractor are still intact
I wonder what used to live behind this door?
And that concludes my visit to the site. Thanks for looking!
