I'd almost forgotten that I need to post this report, I managed to do a visit to the Shredded Wheat factory a while ago but thought it was best to leave it a while before posting as this has been in the news a few times recently.
I have to say the 'stepped up' security was shockingly bad, the entrance to the site was a joke, the doors into the main buildings were all unlocked, and the security guard on duty seemed deaf, blind and oblivious. I'm also sure we walked stright infront of CCTV cameras on the way in and still nothing. I can only assume the guard knew we were there but just didnt care.
We had a stunning morning for the explore, the sunrise was awesome and made for some great lighting inside. The place was very bare, but was still an explore that I was pleased to have done.
This place is very local to me, and at one point I used to work very near by too and in the mornings it was often a nice smell that greeted me on the way in to work, so it was one of those places that I really had to visit at some point.
This is my take on the place, I know many of these images have been seen before, hopefully some are new..
Just under there is where the guards hut is, we went passed that a few times!
Iconic view of the Howard Centre
Anyone got any idea what this is?
Nice... :-/
I did expect to see many more of these, but this was only one of two we found.
Every time I drive past this place now I have to smile to myself, I was in there
