I said "Bushy Ruff", Tut!

Nice little wonder this, although the place is totally gutted, it was in the throws of renovation, which has now stopped, there is also fire damage in the roof. The only original bit I found inside the house was the cellar wine alcoves and a mummified bat.

The original house was built in 1797 by William Knocker, former Mayor of Dover, he built the house and named the area (not after his wife I hope). He also excavated the lake to power his paper mills in the area. The house was built with a Italianate feel to impress his visitors.
