the second site we visited was this lovely ruin of st marys of appleton now the village has long gone and only the church remains its said to be saxon but could be earlier

Thanks for the coments guys it is a lovely little building in the hart of sandingham so if your ever in that neck of the woods its well worth a visit as you can see very photogenic
