Visited with Antonymes with thanks to Ninja for the info :) Looks like we got there just in time as you may have read in the other thread that it has been cleared of its contents and a more recent update that large bonfires have been burning in the back garden. Quite a sad thought that any of the personal items in this amazing little cottage have been destroyed in this way but not surprising given the recent media exposure its recieved.
The darkness inside is depicted in the photographs and it's quite a feat to get sharp images inside here as every time a vehicle drove past the house literally shook! Its condition is very parlous but it is [or was] full of history of past lives.
I wont put up any history for obvious reasons, just sad a beautiful location has become a non event for anyone wanting to see it.

Whilst it is true that nothing lasts forever, it makes my heart sink knowing that many of the contents of this home have ended up on a bonfire. Yourself and others on the forum have captured it superbly and allowed the rest of us to view a real treasure before it is gone.

Ditto, Many Thanks.

I love these little cottages with all there artefacts in,so much history but tinged with a bit of sadness to see it slowly going.great photos.
