A Live Steelmill,

Me & explorer Merlin risked life & limb to bring you this report!!
Afew months back i scrounged a few items of PPE compatable to that of the men in the melting shop & the regimentary hard hats we already had! Again we used mobile phones both sony ericcson w850i's, while we felt totally out of our depth the PPE worked because we went totally unchallenged!! admittedly we only took pictures when we wernt being looked at.
We wernt sure what we were looking at or if it was safe to be stood there, so here goes & hope you enjoy the show,

Very nice work, always nice to see a Live site now and then. Is it Cardiff by any chance? looks like the Tata site here? but then again they all look a bit the same.

Very interesting stuff, nice one!

There's not much heavy industry left in this country, it's great to see what little there is left.

I suggest you don't post the location publicly and keep it to PMs. Probably best to not have this turning up on search engines.

Ah there is not many Tata about, there is two by where I live and they look very similar to yours, although the biggest one by me was 8 miles square a few years back, but Corus stripped it then Tata have done the same, I am so glad I got a fair few pictures when it was full size.
