Pilkingtons glass..the machine shop

Following on from my visit to the main factory at pilks.we then entered the large machinery building.the building had suffered a bit of fire damage at one point in there.i loved it in here and wished I could have spent a lot longer but time as getting away and it was the last bit of the factory we saw.it had lathes,bending machines and lots of other pieces in here too.i would say pilks is deffo worth a visit and a place not many bother with now.

It seems to me that you have an interest in industrial photography. Superb stuff. I also like the suspended chair. There's a lot of old-fashioned machinery here, giving me the illusion that it was an extremely busy and noisy factory, but now - silence.
