After the initial plans for the day went tits up myself and my friend who had recently been reunited after she had spent the last 16 months abroad dug into the backups list and ended up having a great time - four successes, two were revisits for me and two were new to me. We headed to Federal Mogul first as I knew it was an easy one, I covered the place extensively a few months back so won't bother putting the few photos I took up.
After that we headed fifteen minutes down the road to this place, another that had been on my list for a long time but I'd never found the right opportunity for. It's well shagged, the local morons have made a right mess of it in places but the corridors are great and pretty much it's only redeeming feature other than the sheer size of it. We wandered around the top floor and then left as we knew the floors below would just be more of the same, and with other stuff to do didn't want to spend more time than necessary there.
It's strange how a random assortment of windows have been boarded up, as if they ran out of wood or energy or money or willingness to bother boarding it up.
Thanks for looking, more shots are here https://www.flickr.com/photos/mookie427/albums/72157686096501053
