Hi all,
This is my first post and derelict discovery and to be honest I didn't expect success on my first attempt as I had read that this ROC post had been locked for many years...
The compound is not as secure as it once was (based on some other photos I've seen) and some minor repairs have been made to the hatch. At first glance the hatch appears to be screwed and welded shut but there were no padlocks and it opened very easily for us.
Internally, much has been removed and it looks like the place has been in use fairly recently with some rubbish left in there by previous visitors - tobacco, lighter, Starbucks cup, etc
The desk, tool board, BT junction boxes, fuse box, cupboard, siren box, bottles of water all remain and other than a bit of water the place looked to be in decent shape.
