Lovell Lodge Hotel
The Lovell lodge hotel came to a quick close on the 5th of June 2016. A fire started in the kitchen which quickly spread to the air ducts causing the fire to travel through the vents that lead to the roof. The building lost the whole upstairs. Its just all smashed plasterboard now. However the downstairs held up pretty well.
The hotel was a family run business and had 23 en-suite bedrooms. Each room had flat screen televisions and in one of the rooms we found a safe! Sadly quite a lot was taken out of the building after the fire so there wasn't too much left behind.
The Explore
I've attempted this one a few times before hand however due to it being located on a busy road it was really hard to cross the fence undetected. We eventually managed to get around the back to find a curly staircase leading strait into the building.
